Amazing. Inspirational. Beautiful.
At a restaurant along the river in Hoi An, Vietnam
This wish was left in a beautiful origami store in the Tokyo (Narita) Airport. We had such a wonderful honeymoon and I wanted to pass along the well wishes of safe travel to everyone else.

When travelling in Chiang Mai, Thailand I took the oppurtunity to take a course for Thai Massage. As a Massage Therapist I always like to keep learning techniques that will benefit my massage practice and most importantly my clients.
I had the priviledge of spending the day with Aree, a Thai Massage teacher and practitioner. She has been studying, teaching and practicing Thai Massage for the last 30 years. She is a wonderful teacher and has a beautiful soul. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to learn from her.
I gave her this wish of good fortune as a thank you for spending time with me and teaching me the ancient art of Thai Massage.

I know I already left a wish of discovery out there in the universe…but the wish seemed very fitting for the location. When travelling in Cambodia we had spent the day at the Temples of Angkor. The wish was left at a temple called Ta Phrom. It was one of my favorites temples because for the most part is has been left the way it was found. At the temple there are trees growing out of the ruins. It’s hard to tell if they built the temple around the trees or if the trees grew around the temple. Such an amazing experience and should be a definite “to do” if you ever travel to SE Asia.

When we were travelling through Vietnam everywhere you turned there were people decorating in preperation for Tet (Vietnamese/Chinese New Year). It seemed to be at least a week long celebration. I wanted to leave a wish of ”Happy New Year” to the staff at the Sunflower Hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam. Our stay here was wonderful…a nice pool and they had an amazing breakfast every morning. We loved Hoi An and wished we could have stayed longer. This city is a must see if you ever make it to Vietnam. Amazing food (try the Cau Lao), the people were very friendly and the custom handmade clothes are to die for. Can’t go wrong with 50$ for a custom made suit, 40$ for a beeautiful fall jacket and less than 100$ for 4 pairs of shoes. If you ever find yourself there remember to pack light!
